As a robotics engineer, you’ll be responsible for leading and/or supporting various robotics and machine vision projects to fuel our growth. In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
Simulation and implementation of ABB's Rapid language program on our industrial grinding robot
Programming of geometric recognition vision application with Halcon's Hdev solution for trajectory point transmission
Development and execution of “Hand in Eye” calibration and “TCP” tool learning routines
Programming of robot/vision communication via SDK in C#
Mechanical design in Solidworks of tools or templates required for robotics
Document management for implemented solutions
Process optimization

Training in automated production,
mechanical engineering, or any other related field
Knowledge of C# programming
Ability to communicate in French and English, both verbally and in writing
Strong analytical skills, resourcefulness, curiosity, meticulousness, and a love of teamwork

Knowledge of ABB brand robots
Knowledge of Halcon software or other image analysis and 3D vision software
Knowledge of CAD software, Solidworks
