We are seeking a Director to provide enterprise leadership for our Transportation and Infrastructure Division , accountable for overall business performance, strategic execution, and organizational effectiveness.
This role translates corporate strategy into divisional execution, ensuring the Division operates as an integrated, high-performing business unit. The Director establishes clear priorities, enables disciplined decision-making, and ensures alignment across delivery, financial performance, people leadership, and client outcomes.
Working in close partnership with Practice Area Leads and support roles, the Director drives consistency, accountability, and operational clarity while enabling sustainable growth and strong client impact.
Accountabilities
Lead Division strategy, annual business planning, and priority setting in alignment with corporate objectives.
Establish performance expectations, operating rhythms, and decision-making frameworks.
Drive cross-practice alignment and integrated execution across business units.
Champion a data-informed, continuous improvement operating model to enhance performance and scalability.
Financial & Business Performance
Own Division financial results including revenue, gross margin, utilization, backlog, and profitability.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and KPI/OKR management.
Oversee pricing strategy, major pursuits, and commercial approvals within governance frameworks.
Ensure strong financial discipline including WIP, A/R, billing integrity, and scope control.
Delivery Excellence & Quality Management
Accountable for consistent delivery standards across all Practice Areas.
Oversee QA/QC systems, quality metrics, and right-first-time delivery performance.
Drive continuous improvement through performance tracking, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
Ensure alignment of major deliverables, review processes, and execution governance.
People Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness
Define and evolve Division structure, leadership roles, and reporting alignment.
Lead senior talent development, succession planning, and leadership capability building.
Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and accountable culture grounded in collaboration and trust.
Strengthen engagement, retention, and leadership bench strength through clear career pathways.
Client, Market & Growth Leadership
Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients and strategic accounts.
Support and guide business development, pursuits, and market positioning.
dentify growth opportunities and enhance differentiation through clear service offerings and thought leadership.
Safeguard and elevate the Division’s reputation for technical excellence and client-focused delivery.
Governance, Risk & Operational Discipline
Act as senior escalation point for major project, client, and operational risks.
Establish governance structures for financial control, delivery oversight, and risk management.
Approve high-impact decisions within delegated authority, ensuring accountability and consistency.
Ensure timely resolution of critical issues and embed lessons learned into practice.
What You Bring
Degree or diploma in a relevant technical,
business, or leadership field.
5+ years of progressive leadership experience in consulting, engineering, or technical services.
Proven success leading a business unit with full accountability for strategy, financial performance, people leadership, and operations.
Strong financial acumen, commercial judgment, and client relationship capability.
Demonstrated ability to lead through complexity, influence across functions, and drive disciplined execution.
Leadership approach aligned with collaboration, accountability, and enterprise thinking.
