As a vital member of the International Graduate School team, you will facilitate programs that empower international students with the necessary skills for career success in Canada. Your responsibilities will include advising students individually, conducting relevant workshops, and maintaining connections with employers and community resources. By harnessing the Humber Learning Outcomes framework, you will help enhance student employability and career readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise international students on career readiness and employment options
• Organize and lead workshops for skill and confidence building
• Manage mentorship relationships and coordinate associated activities
• Collaborate with various departments to support student needs
• Perform labour market research to anticipate job trends
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in advising
• Proficiency in using a CRM for tracking student interactions
• Robust organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders
