Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess solid mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, ensuring that vehicles are maintained and repaired to the highest standards. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete repairs.
Interpret schematics and technical manuals to understand vehicle systems and repair procedures.
Weld components as necessary for repairs or modifications.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's needs and repair options.
Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process.





Qualifications
Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in a dealership or independent shop setting.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
Proficiency in using power tools and automotive repair equipment.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents related to automotive systems.
Willingness to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs.
A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are a plus.
