Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and attention to detail
Maintain cleanliness of the cafe area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed for customer orders




Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times
Follow all food handling and safety protocols to uphold hygiene standards and protect customer health

Experience
Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly desirable; familiarity with serving in a quick-paced environment is a plus
Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
Experience in food preparation or food industry roles demonstrates readiness for this position
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
Understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met
