Duties
Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and delivery schedules to ensure transparency and accountability
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate pickup and delivery times




Perform routine vehicle maintenance or report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure optimal performance
Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and automotive repair procedures

Skills
Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Knowledge of automotive repair basics for minor troubleshooting and maintenance
Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
Physical ability to load/unload freight, operate heavy machinery, and perform vehicle inspections as required
