Role Description The Travel Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Edmonton, AB. This role is responsible for advising clients on travel options, building customized itineraries, and managing end-to-end travel arrangements including transportation, accommodations, and activities. Day-to-day tasks include handling inquiries, providing destination and product information, preparing quotes, and finalizing reservations in alignment with client needs and company policies.

The Travel

Consultant will also resolve booking issues, coordinate changes or cancellations, and provide proactive customer service to ensure a positive travel experience.



Collaboration with vendors and internal team members, along with accurate documentation and use of booking systems, is a core part of this position.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Travel Consulting, with the ability to understand client needs and recommend appropriate destinations and packages.
- Experience in Travel Management, including coordinating itineraries and managing multiple bookings concurrently.
- Proficiency in handling Travel Arrangements such as flights, hotels, tours, and ground transportation.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on clear communication, empathy, and problem resolution.
- Competence in Reservations, including use of booking platforms, attention to detail, and adherence to policies and timelines.
- Prior experience in a travel agency or hospitality environment is an asset.
- Knowledge of major travel booking systems and global distribution systems (GDS) is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Edmonton, AB, manage time effectively, and maintain accuracy in a rapid-paced setting.
