We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Truck Driver - Class 1 to join our transportation team! Responsibilities

- Safely operate a Class 1 commercial truck to transport freight over short and long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and documentation
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle maintenance reports in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff,



and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle reliability and safety
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling

Skills

- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment in a logistics or warehouse setting
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and securement techniques
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Solid understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Physical ability to load, unload, lift heavy items, and perform inspections as required
