Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the freight.

Responsibilities

- Operate trucks and heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Transport freight to designated locations according to scheduled routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Assist with basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness.




- Operate forklifts for loading and unloading freight when required.

Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Proven experience in commercial driving or heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus, enabling quick troubleshooting on the road.
- Ability to handle freight safely, including knowledge of weight limits and load securing techniques.
- Forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Solid attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass background checks and adhere to safety regulations.
