New truck sales representatives are an integral part of our company, as they responsible for bringing in new business, and maintaining relationships with our established clients.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Call on potential customers and accounts within allocated sales territory
- Diligently following up on in-coming leads
- Provide exceptional customer service to walk-in customers
- Develop a valuable understanding of your territory’s client base
- Consistently strive to meet all the customers operational needs by being up-to-date on all Hino products and Metro Truck Group capabilities




- Educating and exciting customers about both our existing and incoming inventory, as well as what add-on features may be offered
- Create sales proposal documents
- Assist customer through the sales process including vehicle selection and available financing
- Meet sales objectives set out by Metro Truck Hino
- Working closely with dealership service departments as needed
- Manage multiple sales engagements at a given time
- Completing all sales documentation in a timely and precise manner
- Follow-up with customers after the purchase and handle customer post sale inquiries
- All other duties as assigned

Reporting to the Hino General Sales Manager, the New Truck Sales Representative is accountable for professionally representing the Sales Department and the Metro Truck Group of companies as a whole. Education & Qualifications:

- Minimum 3+ years prior sales experience with strong closing skills
- Trucking Industry/ Truck Dealership background preferred and considered strong asset
- Commitment to personal safety and safety of coworkers/customers
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Out-going and self-motivated personality type,



with strong business insight and critical thinking skills
- Computer and smartphone literacy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Holds a valid G class license with ability to reliably commute/travel
- DZ license is an asset
