About Us:

Kickstart Minis is a growing children’s soccer program focused on introducing kids ages 1.5–7.5 to the game in a fun, positive, and engaging setting. Our goal is to build confidence, coordination, and a love for soccer through structured, high-energy classes.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Coach to support our Head Coach at our Bradford location. This role involves assisting with weekly soccer sessions, helping manage groups of young children, and contributing to a fun and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
Assist in running soccer classes for children ages 1.5–7.5
Support the Head Coach in delivering structured, engaging, and age-appropriate sessions
Help manage and engage children during activities and drills
Assist with setting up and taking down equipment
Interact positively with parents when needed
Help maintain a safe, fun,



and inclusive workplace

Requirements:
Experience working with children (coaching, camps, volunteering, or similar)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Energetic, positive, and reliable personality
Ability to engage and manage young children in a group setting
Soccer experience is an asset but not required

Availability Required:
Tuesdays: 6 PM – 8 PM in Newmarket
Wednesdays: 6 PM – 8 PM in Newmarket
4 Hours Per Week

Training will begin immediately after hiring and will continue through the first week of September. Our next term will begin in the first week of October and run weekly through the last week of April. Since our programs are held in school gymnasiums, there will be no classes on dates when schools are closed, including the Christmas holiday break, March Break, and other school closure dates.

Pay: $18.50 per hour
