BAKER AND CASHER JOB REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Requirements
Language: English Education College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Culinary or Baking and Pastry Student (Graduate)
Experience: 1 YEAR minimum experience in baking industry or food production
Additional Skills
Prepare and bake specialty foods
Familiar with baking terms and baking theory
Ability to troubleshoot or identify problems in the bakery
Knowledge of Japanese ingredients and traditional Japanese sweets/pastries baking experience is an advantage
Must lift up to 20kg of weight
Can stand for long periods of times
Works well in a team and able to cooperate with co-workers
Possesses valuable time management skills and can multi-task
Can work in hotter temperatures and rapid paced workplace
Punctual
Solid communication skills
Food Handler Certificate is an asset.

Currently resides in commutable location to workNOT A SEASONAL POSITION
Responsibilities
Baking
Assisting opening and closing store
Scaling of ingredients, stocking and preparing packaging, supplies
Customer Service
Cleaning and Maintenance of bakery
Inventory control
Availability
Minimum 5 days, 40 hours per week for full time positions./ Minimum 3 days, 20 hours per week for part time positions
As early as 7 am or until 10 pm depending on store location
Available to work statutory holidays
At least 1 closing shift per week
At least 1 weekend shift per week (Saturday or Sunday)
Pay: $17.60-$17.90 per hour
