ScopeSys seeks a technically grounded Engineering Lead to take charge of the engineering function moving from prototypes to reliable instruments. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and ensure effective manufacturing, while maintaining service excellence in customer labs. This hands-on role combines hardware development and collaboration with various engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead innovative hardware development for scientific instruments
• Own manufacturing processes and ensure quality control
• Manage service and support for instruments in the field




• Select and oversee relationships with contract manufacturers
• Mentor a growing engineering team with clear technical direction

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in relevant engineering discipline
• 5-10 years of experience in hardware product development
• Hands-on with contract manufacturing and quality management
• Familiarity with optics, microfluidics, or complex electromechanical systems
• Strong systems thinking across engineering boundaries
