Take on an impactful role as Addictions Counsellor I at Corner Brook Community Health Centre. This position offers a chance to assist individuals struggling with mental health and addiction issues.

As part of the Versatile Assertive Community Treatment Team, you will play a crucial role in assessing clients, crafting treatment plans, and providing ongoing support. You’ll partner with community agencies and support clients in managing their recovery journey, contributing significantly to their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement client assessments and recovery strategies
• Connect clients to substance use treatment services
• Advocate for client needs within the community
• Collaborate effectively with the FACT team members




• Offer after-hours support as required

Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Social Work is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology necessary
• Relevant experience in counseling and crisis intervention
• Eligibility for regulatory body registration
• Valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle required
