Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Tutor in North & West Vancouver to provide one-on-one tutoring tailored to students with diverse learning needs. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives by fostering confidence, independence, and academic success through engaging and customized instruction.

Responsibilities
Deliver personalized tutoring sessions that address individual learning styles and special needs
Develop and implement tailored lesson plans aligned with each student’s goals and abilities
Communicate effectively with students to motivate and encourage active participation
Collaborate with families and support teams to track progress and adjust strategies as needed




Maintain detailed records of student progress, session activities, and achievements
Create a positive, inclusive learning setting that promotes confidence and enthusiasm for learning
Ensure safety and well-being during all tutoring sessions

Qualifications
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, especially with children or students with special needs
Robust communication skills to connect effectively with students, families, and support teams
Experience working with children in classroom or one-on-one settings
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning requirements
Passion for helping students succeed and fostering a supportive learning setting
