Job Description
The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a Family Physician to provide Locum primary care and acute care services in the Spiritwood and District Health Complex located in the town of Spiritwood.
The Spiritwood and District Health Complex is an integrated healthcare centre with primary care, long-term care, ambulatory care, home care, public health, mental health, therapies and a variety of other health care services.
The long-term care facility has space for 46 residents, with 3 dedicated for respite.
Physicians are largely responsible for Primary Care/Cooperative Emergency Centre, long-term care and acute care, and work together with a team of nurse practitioners.
Job Qualifications
This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume setting with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family centered care.
To be eligible you must hold certification from the or have successfully completed SIPPA and be eligible for a license to practice family medicine in Saskatchewan.
