As the HVAC Mechanic I, you will report to the Manager of Maintenance and handle a variety of HVAC tasks independently. Your work will include installing, repairing, and maintaining critical heating and ventilation systems, ensuring a protected and comfortable setting for students and staff. Key Responsibilities: - Install and repair heating and ventilation equipment - Maintain pneumatic and electronic thermostats - Execute air balancing for heating systems - Conduct inspections for preventative maintenance - Support other trades as a supervising authority
Requirements: - HVAC/Refrigeration Certificate of Trades Qualification - Class B gas fitting certification necessary - Minimum three years in HVAC maintenance - Solid troubleshooting skills required - Valid BC Class 5 driver's license needed
