As a Registered Nurse in the Outpatient Clinic Services Program, you will work under the Patient Services Manager and deliver nursing care to patients undergoing treatment and assessment for cancer. Your responsibilities will include administering treatments, providing psychosocial support, and coordinating patient care while adhering to professional nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide independent nursing services to cancer patients
Administer prescribed treatments as per guidelines
Assess physical and psychosocial responses of patients
Educate patients and families for active participation
Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team on care
Requirements:
Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
Experience with electronic charting and oncology care
Solid communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a team workplace
