$500.00 signing bonus to be received upon the completion of probation

Skill Requirements: Education

Completion of high school

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.):

Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement

Experience

2 years minimum

Languages

Speak English, Read English, Write English

Tractor-trailer, Flatbed

Short-haul, Local

Documentation Knowledge

Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trip reports, Accident or incident reports

Communication Equipment Experience

Citizens band (CB) radio, Cellular phone

Weight Handling

More than 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills

Loading and unloading of goods,



Pay and receive payments for goods, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness, Perform preventive maintenance
