Durham Medical Centre/Durham Ultrasound is a diagnostic imaging clinic serving the community of the Durham Region. Our practice requires a qualified and registered professional sonographer to perform daily patient tests.

Appointments are typically scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.

We are currently seeking PART-TIME/FULL-TIME sonographer(s).

Qualifications

- Must be registered and in good standing with CMRITO as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- Must have successfully completed the Sonography Canada Core Sonographic Examination and Vascular Sonographic Examination
- Vascular certification/credentials, including CRVS/RVT or equivalent recognized vascular credential, are preferred
- Demonstrates competency in performing vascular ultrasound examinations, including carotid, peripheral arterial, peripheral venous, and abdominal vascular studies
- Previous vascular ultrasound experience is preferred; however, new graduates from an accredited vascular sonography program are encouraged to apply




- Candidates requiring supervised clinical training or return-to-practice hours may also be considered
- Demonstrates excellent patient care, communication skills, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with our senior vascular technologist, radiologists, and vascular surgeon as we continue to expand our vascular services.
