This 18-month term position focuses on supporting environmental health and climate change projects. You will play a key role in data analysis, report production, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to assess health risks in Nova Scotia. The ideal candidate has expertise in public health surveillance and strong communication skills to convey findings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and analyze epidemiological data for projects
• Conduct literature reviews and lead statistical analyses
• Produce clear epidemiology reports for various audiences
• Monitor regional and national environmental health trends
• Synthesize evidence for policy and practices development
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in health profession or science with five years experience
• Master's in epidemiology with three years experience
• Content expertise in public health surveillance
• Solid analytical and communication skills required
• Experience in environmental health surveillance is an asset
