This position, under the guidance of the Security Risk Management Lead, is pivotal in enhancing security risk oversight across Manitoba Hydro. Key areas of responsibility include managing cybersecurity incidents, conducting assessments, and supporting compliance efforts. You will also innovate within technology security to align practices with industry standards and promote safety and security in operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide recommendations for Technology Security strategies
• Manage reporting and resolution of data security incidents
• Conduct assessments of systems, applications, and networks




• Track remediation, exceptions, and risk register updates
• Support internal and external audit coordination

Requirements:
• Four-year degree in Computer Science with five years of experience
• Understanding of cyber risk management and cybersecurity controls
• Certified Information System Security Skilled (CISSP) or similar
• Strong communication skills for effective reporting
• Valid Manitoba Driver's Licence required
