This role, which reports to the Provincial or Site Leader of Supportive Care, emphasizes clinical assessment and intervention. You will engage in department educational programs while embracing an interdisciplinary approach. Your work will foster well-being through effective counseling and social work methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide psychosocial consultation and clinical assessments
• Deliver clinical interventions and counseling services to patients
• Participate in department educational programs and training
• Engage in interdisciplinary team collaboration on patient care
• Develop relationships and set goals for emotionally charged situations
Requirements:
• Degree in Social Work or Indigenous Social Work
• Three years of supervised counseling experience
• Membership with Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers
• Knowledge of community health programs in Saskatchewan
• Valid driver's license for mobility between sessions
