Job Description Join our Global Events & Strategic Initiatives Team and play a pivotal role in creating corporate events that shape culture, align leaders, and bring strategy to life for colleagues around the world.

About the role This is a hands-on individual contributor role based in Toronto and the work requires experience in technical event production and event management. While it’s not an event planning role, it does require advanced familiarity with the event operations and logistics. It involves guiding event production planning, resourcing, in office operations, show calling, and live event operations for global events. The ideal candidate will have familiarity and comfort with technology, be current on break-through experience design and emerging event technology, and be curious about emerging technologies in multimedia, technical staging, live talent and other aspects of event production.
With a proven ability to deliver the highest standard of work, they will orchestrate ideas, resources and people to bring critical production and operational plans to life to help us deliver an amazing portfolio of global events.
What you’ll be doing Lead the event production planning throughout the event planning lifecycle: on-site operations, show calling, and live event operations for global events (live, hybrid and virtual)
Partner with peers to create and deliver impactful global events by understanding and translating business objectives and priorities into moments for experiences
Be the connective tissue between event content, creative, graphics, technology and logistics - bringing these workstreams together and with an understanding and a vision for how it all comes to life on stage
Coordinate and lead project team meetings to ensure scheduling, operational and production timelines and deliverables are met through the event project lifecycles
Build, manage and socialize technical run-of-show documents and production schedules
Be the glue between IT and AV teams to ensure to ensure execution excellence
Source and manage partnerships with external vendors and ensure that services are delivered in line with the statement of work and budget
Collaborate with Brand colleagues to ensure appropriate branding is represented at all events and incorporated into all experiences
Manage and reconcile program budgets
Requirements University education,
plus a minimum of eight years of relevant experience in event production with an incredibly strong portfolio of delivered work in live events
Have strong experience managing global corporate events (either from a corporate or agency perspective)
Have advanced knowledge of end-to-end event production and project processes
Have experience in show calling, stage management and event operations for hybrid, virtual and in-person corporate audiences
Observant: you have the ability to pick up cues and connect the dots to anticipate and trouble shoot
