Elevate youth programming with the Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority as a full-time Promoter of Youth Development in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. Engage with the community and foster youth wellbeing initiatives to make a lasting impact.

This role requires a dedicated individual to support the Youth Development section at SLFNHA. With a focus on engaging youth and developing impactful programming, you will work collaboratively with community health leaders and regional high schools. Your mission is to promote health equity, develop partnerships, and enhance community capacity through strategic youth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support community health leadership with youth programming
• Collaborate with regional high schools for youth initiatives




• Develop and implement health promotion activities
• Mentor community-based workers and provide training
• Write funding proposals to support youth development

Requirements:
• Diploma in social work or related field
• Minimum 1 year experience in public health
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license
• Willingness to travel and relocate to Sioux Lookout
