Magna Mining Inc. is a Sudbury-focused, base metal exploration and development company.

Magna Mining’s key objective is to become the next nickel and copper producing company in Canada by executing a growth strategy that is focused exclusively on the historic nickel producing district of Sudbury, ON.

We intend to achieve this objective via the creation of a Sudbury focused, hub and spoke production model, with our existing Shakespeare project as the hub. Job Description
TheSenior Geologist,Productiondeliverssustainable and reliable mine geological services to support secure and efficient underground operations at Magna Mining’s Levack Mine.

All Magna Mining team members are expected to work collaboratively with others, lead the way in health and safety, act with honesty, integrity, and foster an entrepreneurial spirit in pursuit of excellence.

Responsibilities

Design , implement and perform grade control, geological mapping, orebody interpretation and effective reconciliations and resource definition practises and standard operating procedures .

Design and implement and perform diamond drilling programs , core logging, and sampling and QAQC practises and procedures .

Ensure geologic models, including short-term block modelling, are up-to-date and accurate . Collaborate with exploration teams on near-mine drilling programs.

Supervise and mentor geologists, technologists, and field personnel involved in production geology activities.

Ensure production geology activities comply with health, safety, environmental,



and regulatory requirements.

Deliver monthly production reconciliation between mine and resource model.

Prepare and deliver regular reports on geological performance, ore quality, and team KPIs.

Identify and implement improvements to geological processes and technologies.

Work cross-functionally with mine planning, engineering, operations and metallurgy teams to optimize resource extraction.

Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies as needed.

Requirements
Qualifications: Formal Education, Certifications or Equivalents

Post-secondary education in Geolog ical Sciences , Geological Engineering , or a related field.

Pr ofessional Geo scientist designation in Ontario or eligibility to obtain P GO is required .

7or more years ofmineral exploration, with a focus on underground mining operations.

Sound knowledge of underground mining methods.

Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and safety practices in underground mining.
