In this position, you will report to the Director of Care and work with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality nursing services that honor the dignity of residents. You will conduct thorough assessments, implement care plans, and directly administer treatments, ensuring all care follows provincial regulations. Collaborate effectively with various team members while addressing resident concerns and overseeing delegation of tasks to non-regulated care staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate documentation and update care plans
• Coordinate with physicians and service providers on care strategies
• Provide direct nursing care and medication management
• Assist in resident transitions and discharge planning
• Support infection prevention and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Valid LPN registration in British Columbia
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to obtain a current Vulnerable Sector Check
