We are seeking a veterinary assistant for our busy small animal practice in Lake Country, BC. Veterinary assistant training is preferred, but applicants with experience working with animals, and especially in a veterinary clinic, will be considered. Our privately-owned clinic offers progressive medical and surgical services and takes pride in serving our local community.

We use Avimark veterinary medical software and are a paperless clinic; strong computer skills required. The successful applicant must be friendly, outgoing, have excellent communication skills and be willing to work in a fast-paced environment. The position will include a variety of tasks including answering telephones, making appointments, patient follow ups, greeting clients and checking in patients, animal restraint, assisting veterinary technicians for surgical procedures, filling medication requests, and cleaning.
