Foxcreek Animal

Hospital is looking to hire a mature, self starting, detail oriented and organized individual. We are a fast-paced environment with a list of daily tasks as well as a few unexpected surprises on the way. The ideal candidate is confident and independent. They are able to juggle multiple tasks with ease and success. They are the face of the clinic, they are the first voice heard on the phone and the last when clients leave after an appointment. They set the tone for the clinic through Facebook posts and email correspondence. Monday through Friday with Occasional Saturdays and Sundays. The person will be working between Foxcreek Animal Hospital and Bronte Pet Resort. More hours of work will be at Bronte Pet resort.

Kennel

- Cleaning cages and dog runs
- Feeding, exercising, and playing with animals
- Cleaning animal waste, spilled food, hair, and other debris from the kennels.
- Accompanying animals on walks, if required.
- Checking in and Booking clients as well as providing tours of the facilities
- Laundry, vacuuming, mopping, and garbage disposal




- Answering emails and calls from clients as well as providing pet parents with updates during their stay

Clinic Tasks include:
- Email and phone correspondence
- Answering phones
- Patient follow ups
- General reminders for appointments, vaccination due dates, rechecks etc * Organizing paper work and scheduling
- Some inventory management
- Checking appointments; weight, temperature and brief history on condition
- Relaying information from client to veterinarian
- General cleaning and maintenance of the clinic
- Restocking supplies
- Mopping, vacuuming, dusting as required
- Maintaining a welcoming environment * Animal handling in appointments and during procedures
- Cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments
- Care towards in house animals (either boarding / patients)
- Maintaining daily logs
- Helping with Radiographs (if required)
- Helping with Surgery (if required)
- Processing and submitting inventory orders
- Processing and submitting insurance claims (if required)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
