Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist, where your enthusiasm and compassion will make a real difference in the lives of pets and their owners. In this energetic role, you’ll be providing essential support to our veterinary staff. Your multitasking skills and positive attitude will help our clinic move along seamlessly day to day.

Responsibilities

- Greet clients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures to ensure a positive experience for pet owners.
- Manage appointments efficiently, coordinating between clients and veterinary staff to optimize daily workflow.
- Support veterinary technicians and veterinarians by preparing examination rooms, handling laboratory samples, and assisting with basic animal restraint.
- Maintain accurate patient records, update medical histories, and document treatments in compliance with clinic protocols.
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about services, appointments, and general pet care advice.
- Assist with laboratory tasks such as sample collection and processing,



leveraging laboratory experience to support diagnostic procedures.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, treatment rooms, and animal kennels to uphold health and safety standards.

Skills

- Robust communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor that fosters trust with clients and team members.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of animal handling techniques and restraint procedures.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a positive attitude toward learning new skills.
- Familiarity with Idexx Neo for record keeping is a plus but not required.

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
