The Vice
President will work directly as a partner of the Senior Vice President of Private Equity in the overall management of the PE IR department to deliver the following responsibilities listed below.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and sustain client relationship by initiating communication on a regular basis, both by telephone and in person Keep customer (internal/external) informed of trends and issues relevant to their services Maintain a pro-active customer focus at all times Facilitate new business installations, managing all phases ensuring timely and accurate completion Financial and Risk Management: Budget preparation and in managing costs within the department Ensure full adherence and implementation of the corporate and local risk policy,
manage and minimize claims Ensure all control procedures and internal reporting requirements are met Assess and monitor the operational risks in the department Monitor risk reporting to ensure adherence to department’s procedures Resource and Staff Management: Direct report managerial - development, coaching and succession planning including the completion of performance reviews and individual development plans Develop management and technical skills of managers Provide staff management support to the managers, assisting them to effectively deal with staff issues Motivate people by creating a high performance environment that is both challenging and exciting Actively contribute to corporate initiatives as part of the management team Private Equity experience Gain detailed knowledge and understanding of Citco’s products, policies and procedures Participate in projects that will enhance the delivery of service to our clients, as well as offer opportunity for staff and self-development Ability to manage all aspects of a team and/or teams – leadership, coaching, recruitment, team building, problem resolution, motivation, training and development of staff and managers Solid understanding of the finance industry and financial markets Previous experience gained within an Investor Relations/Unit Registry environment Salary Range: CAD $105,000 - CAD $145,000 ~ This posting is for an existing vacancy.
