About therole Bungeis seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior PayrollOfficer to join our HR Operations team.
Reportingto the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring theaccurate and timely delivery of payroll operations, with a strongfocus on end-of-month processing, reconciliations, compliance andreporting. You will provide technical payroll expertise, supportcontinuous improvement initiatives and act as a key escalationpoint for complex payroll matters.

Keyresponsibilities Completeend-of-month payroll activities, ensuring payroll runs arefinalised, reconciled and processed accurately
Prepare and reviewpayroll tax reporting, month-end deductions and supportingreconciliations
Reconcile payrollclearing accounts and investigate payroll variances anddiscrepancies
Partner with Financeto ensure payroll-related general ledger accounts areaccurately maintained
Process payrolladjustments, back pays, salary changes, allowances, deductionsand termination payments
Provide technicalpayroll support and respond to complex payroll enquiries fromemployees and stakeholders
Support payrollcompliance obligations, including PAYG, Superannuation andSingle Touch Payroll reporting requirements
Contribute topayroll process improvements, system enhancements andoperational excellence initiatives
Aboutyou 5-8years' experience in an Australian payroll role
Strong understandingof Australian payroll legislation, including PAYG,Superannuation and payroll tax requirements
Experienceinterpreting awards, enterprise agreements and employmentcontracts
Proficiency inChris21 and SAP
Experience withSingle Touch Payroll (STP)
