Our client is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of enterprise technology initiatives within a highly governed IT environment. This role will work closely with business and technology leaders, project sponsors, steering committees and delivery teams to plan and execute projects from initiation through implementation and closeout.

The ideal candidate brings strong senior-level IT project management experience along with exposure to areas such as IT Governance, IT Compliance, Identity & Access Management, Cybersecurity, Risk Management or related technology disciplines.

Calgary candidate preferred as occasional meetings in office may be required.

Must Haves

10+ years of IT Project Managemen t experience, leading complex technology projects from initiation through implementation.

Experience delivering projects involving T Compliance, IT Controls, IT Governance, Identity & Access Management, Cybersecurity, Technology Risk or a related area.

Strong experience with project governance, including scope, schedule, budget, risks/issues, dependencies and executive reporting.

Experience working across technical teams, business stakeholders, senior leadership and third-party vendors.

Nice to Haves

Experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, SailPoint, Active Directory or CyberArk.

Experience delivering projects involving technology controls, compliance, audit remediation or risk.

Experience working within formal IT governance framework

What You Will Do

Lead projects from initiation through implementation and closeout, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources and budgets.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans,



schedules and financial tracking.

Establish project governance and provide clear, timely reporting to sponsors, steering committees and senior stakeholders.

Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies and changes.

Coordinate cross-functional project teams, vendors and stakeholders to keep delivery on track.

Facilitate project meetings, working sessions and steering committee presentations.

Support effective adoption and implementation of project outcomes across business and technology teams.

Manage project financials, including budgets, forecasts and ongoing budget tracking.

Apply established project management methodologies and governance practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Lead project closeout activities, including lessons learned and final project reporting.
