In this position, you'll report to the Provincial Privacy Manager and work in a supportive temporary full-time workplace. Key skills required include knowledge of privacy legislation, attention to detail, and proficiency in relevant software. Your expertise allows for efficient management of requests from patients and third parties, ensuring compliance with the Personal Health Information Act (PHIA).

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate patient access to personal health records
• Process requests from third parties as needed
• Accept and manage subpoenas and court orders




• Collect payments for health record access
• Provide estimates for record production and billing

Requirements:
• Grade XII plus graduation from a Health Information Management Program
• Certified member of the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA)
• Extensive knowledge of privacy legislation
• Strong computer skills with Meditech and Microsoft Office
• Excellent organization and communication skills
