Job Summary Reporting to the Director, Food & Beverage, the Cedars Restaurant Manager leads the day-to-day operation of Cedars Restaurant and Lounge, a high-volume, full-service restaurant serving resort guests and the local community, with seating for approximately 330 guests across the restaurant, lounge, and seasonal patio.
This hands-on leadership role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while overseeing Team Member performance and development, operational standards, financial performance, and the overall success of the restaurant.

responsibilities Lead daily restaurant, lounge, bar, and seasonal patio operations.
Lead, coach, schedule, and develop front-of-house supervisors and Team Members.
Maintain exceptional standards for guest service, cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
Oversee sales, labour costs, budgets, inventory, and profitability to support established financial targets.
Partner with the Director, Food & Beverage, Executive Chef, and culinary team to ensure consistent and efficient service.
Support recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and Team Member development.
Ensure compliance with food safety, responsible liquor service, workplace safety, and applicable regulations.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, revenue, and the guest experience.
Qualifications 5+ years of progressive restaurant management experience; General Manager experience is considered a strong asset.
Experience leading a high-volume, full-service restaurant operation.
Strong knowledge of front-of-house, bar, and lounge operations.
Proven leadership and team-development skills.
Experience managing labour, budgets, inventory, costs, and profitability.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Knowledge of food safety, responsible alcohol service, and workplace safety requirements.
WSET certification is considered an asset.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Pay Rate: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
