BroadGrain Commodities is looking for a temporary Legal Counsel to manage complex legal issues in a dynamic environment. You will play a critical role in supporting our corporate team at the Toronto Head Office.

This temporary full time role spans approximately 12 months as you report to the CEO and oversee all legal functions within BroadGrain. You will coordinate with legal service providers internationally, ensuring compliance with regulations and managing corporate records. Your responsibilities include drafting contracts and counseling business units on a variety of legal subjects to support the company’s diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee legal activities including corporate structure management
• Coordinate with external counsel in various jurisdictions
• Structure, draft,



and negotiate commercial contracts
• Advise on employment laws and regulatory compliance
• Prepare articles of incorporation and conduct due diligence

Requirements:
• Law Society of Upper Canada member in good standing
• Minimum 3 years post-call legal experience
• Excellent understanding of Canadian laws applicable to business
• Adaptable to multi-cultural and international matters
• Strong drafting and communication abilities
