Job Title: Hardware Developer
Join a dynamic team as a Hardware Developer working on innovative transducer products. You will be involved in both mature and emerging projects, focusing on digitizing analog waveforms with high precision and accuracy. Your work will primarily center around the head unit of a system on chip, contributing to both existing and new product lines.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize hardware designs for transducer products.

Work on both mature products and new product lines, focusing on accuracy and precision.

Collaborate with senior team members to finalize block diagrams and schematics.

Utilize Allegro and the Cadence tool suite for PCB layout and design.

Conduct early proof of concept for new product developments.

Ensure EMC/EMI compliance through rigorous testing.

Integrate components and select appropriate hardware components.

Essential Skills

Experience in PCB layout and hardware design.

Proficiency in analog design and component selection.

Robust understanding of EMC/EMI testing procedures.

Proficiency in using Allegro or similar software for detailed work.

Background in analog and digital design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with embedded systems is advantageous.

Familiarity with three-phase power, voltage, and current systems.

Work Environment
You will be joining a highly collaborative and multidisciplinary scrum team of 15 members, composed of senior staff who are supportive and eager to help. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Victoria, BC.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a hybrid position in Victoria,BC.
