Job Description:

Shift 4-10's 13:30PM-12:00AM

No required holidays or weekends

Assesses and identifies areas for process improvement, working with the ED

Director and multidisciplinary team to establish action plans based on data collection.

Implements action plans, educates stakeholders involved, and validates plan effectiveness.

Communicates, consults, and disseminates feedback with the ED Leadership team and staff in a timely manner.

Creates process flows with ancillary departments while developing effective working relationships.

Recommends performance improvement initiatives and best practices for core measures, ACHA,



and Det Norske Veritas (DNV) requirements, offering support to staff as needed.

Prioritizes, compiles with, and maintains regulatory data as required for system initiatives and action plans. Integrates current technology resources to retrieve, document, evaluate, and manage outcomes.

Participates in projects and meetings as directed by the Director and/or Nurse Manager.

Demonstrates strong customer service through excellent patient satisfaction, including patient rounding, communication, and follow up.

Performs audits, patient chart reviews, and data collection to ensure compliance with all hospital governing agencies.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Possess advanced computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, to efficiently manage and present data. Creativity and initiative are essential skills for developing innovative solutions and driving improvements in healthcare delivery.

Ability to apply leadership principles effectively, communicate regulatory requirements clearly, and operate with a high degree of autonomy. A deep understanding of evidence‑based medicine, gained through research and regulatory initiatives, is required to inform decision‑making and policy development. Knowledge of core measures,



public reporting, process improvement, performance improvement, and methodology is crucial for enhancing the quality of care provided to patients.

Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and competency in electronic health records systems which supports a seamless integration of patient data and enhances clinical workflows.

Education:

Associate's of Nursing [Required]

Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Master's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

1+ years experience in applicable area [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]

Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Required]

Trauma Nurse Course Certified (TNCC) [Preferred]

Emergency Nursing (ENA) [Preferred]

Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) [Preferred]

Pay Range:
$31.53 - $52.24
