As a key part of the British Columbia Council for International Cooperation, the Communications Specialist develops and maintains a coherent communication strategy. You will handle social media, engage with members, and ensure timely dissemination of information. Your role is crucial for fostering understanding across BCCIC’s network through strategic communications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and publish diverse communication campaigns
• Write, edit, and distribute newsletters and member communications
• Update and ensure accuracy of the BCCIC website




• Coordinate messaging across digital platforms consistently
• Track engagement metrics to inform future strategy

Requirements:
• Degree in communications, public relations, or related area
• 3-5 years of experience in communications or media
• Excellent skills in drafting content and engaging stakeholders
• Familiarity with digital media platforms and analytics
• Initiative, creativity, and ability to work independently
