Enhance surgical operations as a Perioperative Aide at Unity Health Toronto. This full time temporary position focuses on supporting patient care and maintaining the operating environment.

As part of the Perioperative team at St. Joseph's Health Centre, you’ll assist in preparing for surgeries, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are ready. You'll work closely with surgeons and nurses, helping position patients and maintain a sterile and organized operating room.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and organize operating room supplies and equipment
• Assist with patient transfers and positioning
• Monitor and maintain surgical environment cleanliness
• Open sterile packaging under RN supervision
• Support management of emergency supplies as required

Requirements:
• Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate (at least 625 hours)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• OR experience preferred, with knowledge of sterile techniques
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Strong communication skills in English
