Innergex is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Hydroelectric Operator. In this integral role, you will work closely with the Operations Manager and other team members to maintain and troubleshoot our hydroelectric facilities. A robust mechanical and electrical aptitude is essential for success in ensuring continuous, reliable energy production while adhering to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor hydroelectric systems for safety and efficiency
• Participate in Preventative Maintenance program setups




• Troubleshoot alarms promptly to minimize downtime
• Manage contractors for maintenance and repairs
• Create accurate documentation of operations and maintenance activities
Requirements:
• Red Seal Industrial Electrician training or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to reside at camp for consecutive days
• Familiar with outdoor activities and driving in rural areas
