In this position, you will report to the Program Manager for Transit Fleet, overseeing contract services and asset management. Your hands-on experience with maintenance protocols for various transit vehicles will be essential in maintaining service quality. This role requires strong leadership skills to guide assigned staff and to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee maintenance standards and asset management for the transit fleet
• Conduct quality assurance checks on systems and contractor inspections




• Prepare tender documents for vehicle repairs and equipment assessments
• Develop preventative maintenance procedures and inspection protocols
• Evaluate current technologies and assess accident responses

Requirements:
• Community College Diploma in a technical field
• 5+ years experience with transit vehicle maintenance
• Valid Ontario Class 310T and 301S license
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and electrical diagnostics
• Strong leadership capabilities to direct maintenance staff
