Our client, a tier one global company are seeking to hire Manufacturing Leaders ............
Key Responsibilities Lead by example in a zero-injury culture; complete daily safety walks, near-miss reporting, and behavioral observations.
Ensure the team follows all occupational health & safety standards, including lock-out/tag-out and personal-safety procedures.
Partner on incident investigations and drive corrective actions to closure.
Quality & Food Safety Uphold food-safety and quality standards (GMPs, HACCP, and FSSC 22000 / food-safety certification requirements).
Own department readiness for internal and external audits (e.g., AIB / FSSC surveillance audits).
Coach the team so quality checks and hold-and-release disciplines are routine.
People Leadership & Engagement Lead, coach, and develop a team of hourly associates and front-line leaders across shifts, building capability through clear expectations, regular feedback, training, and effective employee relations.
Motivate and inspire the team to achieve individual, team, and department goals while creating ownership for safety, quality, service, cost, and engagement outcomes.
Run daily direction-setting huddles, crewing/staffing, and performance and development conversations that help the team prioritize, solve problems,
and deliver results with urgency.
Build an inclusive, high-engagement workplace where employees feel supported, challenged, recognized, and encouraged to bring forward ideas for improvement.
Drive change through people by communicating clearly, bringing others along, minimizing people impact, and helping teams adapt to new processes, priorities, and ways of working.
Partner with HR, Labour Relations, and site leadership to support hiring, onboarding, engagement, recognition, development planning, and fair administration of collective agreements where applicable.
Operational Execution & Service Deliver the daily production plan to target — volume, schedule adherence, and line efficiency.
Manage crewing, changeovers, and shift hand-offs to meet service and cost commitments.
Use plant systems and scorecards to monitor KPIs and respond in real time.
Apply Lean / production-system tools (5S, standard work, root-cause problem solving) to eliminate loss.
Own department cost drivers — labour, waste, yield, and productivity.
Lead or contribute to continuous-improvement projects that advance safety, quality, throughput, and cost.
