The role at Unama’ki College is crucial for improving health outcomes within L'nu and non-L'nu populations. You will coordinate with community members and build trust within L’nu communities while focusing on health promotion and training Mi’kmaw professionals. Engage with stakeholders and lead health research initiatives reflecting Indigenous knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
• Consult and collaborate with Elders and L’nu community members
• Develop health promotion activities based on L’nu knowledge




• Recruit Mi’kmaw students into health programs
• Work with MINES to enhance health education
• Report annually on initiative impacts

Requirements:
• L’nu descent or strong community connections
• Preferred fluency in Mi’kmaw
• Health Science undergraduate degree minimum
• Proven connections to health research networks
• Robust leadership and communication skills
