Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Volumetric Concrete Truck Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate specialized volumetric concrete trucks that mix and deliver concrete on-site, ensuring precise delivery and quality control. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth construction processes, from pouring foundations to paving surfaces, all while maintaining safety and efficiency.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment and contribute directly to large-scale building projects.

Duties

- Operate volumetric concrete trucks to deliver accurate amounts of mixed concrete directly at construction sites, adjusting mix ratios as needed.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of trucks and equipment, ensuring mechanical integrity and safety compliance before each shift.
- Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and other crew members to schedule deliveries and optimize workflow.
- Assist with the setup of concrete forms, paving, and finishing tasks when required, utilizing your construction experience.
- Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, mix specifications, and equipment maintenance records for accountability and quality assurance.
- Perform routine maintenance on trucks and auxiliary equipment such as loaders, excavators,



or concrete finishing tools to ensure operational readiness.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to prevent accidents and promote a secure work environment.
- Will have to work night shift as needed

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with trucks and auxiliary equipment.
- Proven construction experience with familiarity in trucking, concrete, or related trades.
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as loaders, excavators, or other construction equipment.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (preferably a class 1) (CDL) with a clean driving record for heavy vehicle operation.
- Knowledge of concrete mixing processes and finishing techniques for high-quality results.
- Ability to read technical manuals, or site instructions clearly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and site personnel.
