Join SaskPower as an Indigenous Relations Consultant and lead engagement efforts for Saskatchewan's first small modular nuclear reactor. Your expertise in community engagement and strategic consultation will make a significant impact in this full-time role.
This position is designed for an experienced advisor who will guide the integration of First Nations and Métis perspectives into strategic planning. You will research and implement multifaceted consultation strategies, ensuring they align with SaskPower's corporate objectives. A collaborative workplace is essential, fostering relationships to drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic consultation on multiple organizational functions
• Lead initiatives addressing business needs and operational challenges
• Develop and deliver presentations for diverse audiences
• Facilitate change through strategic project implementation
• Build and maintain strategic networks within and outside SaskPower
Requirements:
• Degree in relevant fields or equivalent work experience
• Five years in policy development and community engagement
• IAP2 training considered an asset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven project management ability and decision-making skills
