The Chinook School Division requires a permanent part-time (0.50 FTE) educational assistant for École Centennial School beginning September 1, 2026. École Centennial School is a pre‑K to Grade 8 school with approximately 520 students and 33 teachers.

Desired Qualifications
Educational Assistant certification or early childhood training an asset
Ability and experience in working with children one‑on‑one and in a classroom setting
Physical ability to work with active students
Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, and an ability to work in a team environment
A positive and adaptable attitude to change
Ability to communicate in French is considered an asset
Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation
Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion
Duties (may Include But Are Not Limited To)
Assisting with a student's educational program
Ability to work as a team member in a fast‑paced student‑centered environment
Willingness to meet the health and hygiene needs of children as required
Based on needs of individual students, provide individual students with assistance in speech, motor, and language development and social and life skills
Work as part of a team in development and implementation of Individual Improvement Plan
