Classroom Supervisor Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools covers a geographical area that includes the regional communities of Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, and Spirit River. We are a team of 600 staff who provide quality teaching and learning experiences for approximately 5,400 students.
Position Overview This is a casual day-to-day assignment for one day emergent situations. The ideal candidate will have some experience in childcare or education.
Duties Present teacher-prepared lessons and supervise students under the direction of the school Principal.
Seek advice of the school Principal prior to engaging in disciplinary action.
Adhere to FOIPP regulations with respect to school and student privacy.




Classroom Supervisors are required to complete a paid orientation/follow-up program consisting of training and follow-up discussions. Classroom Supervisors may also be asked to “shadow” a classroom teacher for a period of time.
Classroom Supervisors will be supervised in the classroom by the Principal and possibly by District Personnel.
Desired Qualifications Individuals with Degrees, Diplomas, or Certificates from a recognized College or University.
Present a clean Police Information Check and Intervention Record Check that is no older than 6 months old.
