This role reports to the Health & Safety Supervisor and focuses on ensuring safety legislation compliance. Key responsibilities include managing the Safety Program, conducting daily safety walks, and developing policies for safe work procedures. Help new employees with safety orientation and provide internal training to maintain up-to-date safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with safety legislation and company policies
• Conduct daily safety walks and identify improvement areas
• Manage and suggest enhancements to the Safety Program
• Develop and review safety-related policies continuously
• Conduct safety audits and implement recommendations
Requirements:
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Experience in safety program administration
• Background in a manufacturing setting
• Post-secondary education in safety-related program
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
Lead the charge in promoting safety protocols and ensuring a secure workplace for all at the Manufacturing Plant.
