As the Surface Land Administration Student, you will be performing day-to-day activities and projects that will provide the development and understanding of the following skill sets: planning and organizing, systems, processes and general job knowledge. Job location: Calgary, AB – Head Office
Shift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday – Friday)
Term lengths: 8 months or 12 months
Term start: May 2027

Key Accountabilities: Help facilitate abandonment and reclamation projects and understand activities related to the program
Ensure data integrity/maintenance of surface files




Assist with capital projects and understand the role of surface land in acquiring wells and facilities
Assist with procedure review and updating
Support the third-party process and understand liability and regulations associated to granting consent
Ad-hoc projects as required
What You Bring to The Role: Currently enrolled in the Energy Asset Management Program or a related post-secondary education program
Experience with Accumap, Abadata, and provincial databases
General knowledge of the surface lifecycle
General knowledge of the Acts and Directives
